Hayley McKay
Singer, Songwriter & acoustic guitar
Hayley has always had a great passion for singing. Some of her achievements up to date include
performing solo at Newcastle City Hall, at the event Sunday for Sammy, where she was amongst some fantastic performers such as Mark Knopfler (Dire Straits), Tim Healy and Lindisfarne. The DVD is out now in HMV and local music stores. Hayley has supported various artists at the 02 Carling Academy (Newcastle), and has also supported artists including Lauren Pritchard (signed to Island Records), blues legend Skip "Little Axe" McDonald, and Allisa's Ark.
She has always had a passion for musical theatre, and has performed across the country in many musicals and opera's, including Her Majesty's Theatre, starring as a young Marylin Monroe. This was one of her first performing experiences, at the age of only 9yrs.
Hayley won a National Talent competition in 2011, and it funded her to study for a year at the prestigious Brighton Institute of Modern Music, BIMM.

Hayley is currently at The British Academy of new Music, London, where she is further developing her original material and collaborating with other musicians.
